What is accountability?

In various contexts, accountability can mean different things but fundamentally centers on the idea of being responsible and answerable to someone else, whether it be stakeholders, a specific person, or a community, for one's actions and decisions.

Can I sign up for multiple free trial sessions?

No. The one-time free trial session is intended for you to try it out before you commit to a longer span of time. Try it once to see if it's a good fit, then choose a four- or eight-week commitment.

Are the sessions consecutive or can I use them as-needed?

When you purchase a four- or eight-week session pack, it's understood that you'll be starting on the upcoming session date and attending for four or eight consecutive weeks. If you need to delay your start time, please state that upfront in reply to your welcome email and we can plan your new start date. If you know in advance that you'll need to miss a week due to a previous commitment, then we can skip that week and add one on at the end.

What happens if something comes up and I don't attend a session?

If you miss a Zoom session, you will not be offered a make-up session. Instead, I'll check in with you via email regarding your progress and plans for the upcoming week. The intention being to ensure you have the connection and accountability, even though you missed the writing time. I want you to write and reach your goals, so some tough love is needed to help you prioritize this time in your week.

My schedule is crazy and I can't attend weekly. Can I still join?

The most important thing is that this works for YOU. If your schedule can't accommodate weekly writing sessions, then we can look at the upcoming session dates and choose the ones you can commit to. Once you've chosen your schedule, the above attendance and cancellation rules will then apply to your custom plan.

Is this a Best Page Forward service?

This program is not affiliated with nor endorsed by Best Page Forward or Bryan Cohen. While I work closely with Bryan in my (awesome) day job, the East Coast Writing Room is my own individual passion project.

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds, exchanges, or substitutions available. You clicked that button for a reason, so let's get to work and make your writing dreams happen!

What if I need to cancel?

If you cancel, there will be no refund. This policy is intended to help you commit and follow through with your writing goals.

How do I pay?

Payment will be made through PayPal, and prices are in Canadian Dollars. If this doesn't work for you, please reach out and we can discuss an alternative payment method.
